We are an oil and gas drilling training organization, providing internationally recognised on the job training, safe working practises, mentoring, development and evaluation, which include drilling equipment, drilling practices and technology, well control, and all other required drilling industry safety & technical standards. Language training, including oilfield technical language skills is included in our on-the-job training services in English,Portuguese, Arabic, Russian and other languages.

In addition to the regular training courses required in the industry, Algarve Drilling & training Consultants can provide 5^th Generation rig trainers especially customised to our client’s new rig requirements, including semi-subs & deepwater drill ships covering such area’s as drilling technical, mentoring, competence, rig site management, leadership for the man on the rig and HSE training. Our 5^th Generation rig trainers are a group of long standing drilling industry professionals, who have spent a considerable portion of their lives on both land and offshore rigs and are highly trained and experienced in cyber rig technology and state-of-the-art new equipment.

5^th Generation rig trainers can make an enormous difference in the start-up phase of new build rigs where rig down time is high, mainly due to operator error and the safety of the crews & integrity of the equipment is at risk. Our expertise to mentor your people on the job releases the full-time responsibility of the senior rig management team to execute other vital work, such as JSA, planning, reporting, maintenance & budget.

Our 5^th Generation rig trainers-on-the-job program is an extremely attractive & effective tool to compliment your contract bid to any oil & gas company. It is based on teaching personnel at their specific rig on the safe & efficient use of their rig specific equipment. Algarve Drilling & Training consultants, together with the rig-site senior management, determine the current competency levels (if any) of the crew members, put them at ease, and get them interested in the learning & development progamme by explaining and demonstrating operations.

Algarve Drilling & Training Consultants stress key points of the job, safety steps, JSA, PTW, TBT's, one step at a time, and teach clearly, thoroughly covering all aspects of the task with patience.

Thereafter, Algarve Drilling & Training Consultants continue by testing performance to ensure the job is executed in a safe, efficient & competent manner. Post task evaluation & targeting risks / hazards is done by means of visual playback with crewmembers on a one-to-one basis.
